Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of OnMyVan.com ("the Service") as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) subscription platform, operated by Call Me Fred – adsyme Ltd (company number 08301982), 86-90 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NE, United Kingdom. These Terms apply to the subscription to, and use of, the OnMyVan platform only. They do not govern any individual contract, booking, transaction, or dispute between a tradesperson and their end customers — those relationships are subject to each tradesperson's own terms of service. By creating an account or subscribing to the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

OnMyVan is a platform that enables tradespeople to create online profiles, publish services, compose quotes, manage bookings, and receive customer reviews. Customers may browse tradesperson profiles, request quotes, and manage their jobs through a free customer portal.

We act as a technology platform only. We are not a party to any contract between a tradesperson and a customer, and we do not employ, endorse, or guarantee the work of any tradesperson listed on the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate, complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

Tradesperson accounts are subject to approval by our team before becoming publicly visible. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke any account at our discretion.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Tradesperson Obligations

By listing your business on OnMyVan you confirm that:

  • All information on your profile (services, prices, qualifications) is accurate and up to date.
  • You hold all licences, certifications, and insurance required by law to carry out the work you offer.
  • You will honour quotes sent to customers in good faith.
  • You will treat customers with respect and professionalism.

4. Customer Obligations

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when requesting quotes or making bookings.
  • Only submit genuine reviews based on actual work carried out.
  • Not attempt to contact tradespeople through the platform for any purpose other than legitimate job enquiries.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not use the Service to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users.
  • Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the platform.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Use the Service in a way that violates any applicable law or regulation.

6. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on genuine experiences. We reserve the right to remove reviews that are defamatory, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms. We do not verify the accuracy of reviews.

7. Subscription Plans & Payment

Access to tradesperson dashboard features (quoting, bookings, public profile, customer portal, and more) requires an active paid subscription. Pricing is displayed on our website and is subject to change with reasonable notice. All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes (VAT, GST, sales tax, etc.), which will be added at checkout where required by law.

Payments are processed securely through Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle.com Inc), who acts as our Merchant of Record. This means your purchase is made from Paddle, and the Service is licensed to you by us (the Supplier). By subscribing, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. We do not store your payment details on our servers. By subscribing, you authorise recurring billing at the start of each subscription period.

Tradesperson–customer transactions: All transactions between tradespeople and their customers — including payments, bookings, service agreements, and any disputes arising from them — are entirely separate from these Terms and are governed solely by each tradesperson's own terms of service. OnMyVan is not a party to those transactions and accepts no liability in connection with them.

8. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for new tradesperson accounts. At the end of the trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan unless you cancel before the trial expires. No charge is made during the trial period. If you decide not to continue, you must cancel before the expiration of the trial period to avoid being charged.

9. Refund Policy

This refund policy applies solely to your OnMyVan SaaS subscription. Refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. We may refuse a refund request if we find evidence of fraud, refund abuse, or other manipulative behaviour.

Service delivery failure: If we fail or unreasonably delay in making the Service available due to technical issues on our side, you are entitled to a replacement subscription period or a full refund of the relevant charges paid.

If you have been charged sales tax and hold a valid sales tax registration in your country of purchase, you may request a refund of that tax amount within 60 days of the transaction date by providing your registration number.

10. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. To ensure your cancellation is processed before the next renewal, please cancel at least 48 hours before the end of your current billing period. Upon cancellation:

  • Your dashboard will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made
  • After your subscription expires, your public profile and dashboard features will be suspended
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted

11. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service (photos, descriptions). By uploading content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content on the platform for the purpose of operating the Service.

The OnMyVan platform, logo, and all associated software are owned by adsyme Ltd. You may not reproduce or redistribute any part of the platform without prior written consent.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any tradesperson will fulfil a job. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service or your reliance on any tradesperson listed on it.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, adsyme Ltd's total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or fail to pay subscription fees. In the event of termination for breach, no refund will be provided. Upon termination, your public profile will be removed. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email.

16. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you have a dispute, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can attempt to resolve it informally. If we cannot reach a resolution, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
